My card features two sad cats and one of the sentiments from Cat's Meow stamp set. This set is very versatile. During next four weeks, I'll share a Christmas card made with other two cats from Cat's Meow.

I stamped both cats with Versafine (Onyx Black) ink and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. I did some coloring with Promarkers (ears, nose, butterfly) but most of the cats are covered with Flocking. Sitting cat is "colored" with Sakura Glue Pen and Buff Flocking. To exhausted cat I also added patches of Twinkling Clouds Sparkle N Soft and Dark Chocolate Flocking.

I used two Wooden Popsicle Sticks on my card. To make them nice and shiny, I brushed Mother of Pearl Nuvo Embellishment Mousse on top of them. Then I pounced one of the popsicle stick with Anti Static Bag to remove the static electricity. I stamped the sentiment with Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.

I ripped some holes to the shabby blue wooden pattern paper and adhered another pattern paper underneath to peek out from the openings. To the two corners of the background I applied some glue and covered it with Twinkling Clouds Sparkle N Soft.

Across the background I sprinkled Blackened Bronze Embossing Powder and heat set it from underneath the paper. And because my card wasn't enough worn-out and gloomy... actually it was but I just had to adhere Oceanic Glass Glitter here and there...

The next stop on the SNS Blog Hop is Jess with her amazing project.

Best Fishes

Hi! I struggle with masculine cards. But Sparkle N Sprinkle Gus - Fish Whisper rubber stamp set and Digital Set will make it very easy.

Sentiment is from Gus-Fish Whisper rubber set. It's stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Antiquities Embossing Powder. I cut it out with a die from Spellbinders Labels Two set. While the die was still in place I inked the paper with Broken China Distress ink. Then I used Sakura Glue Pen to draw a frame around the inking and covered the glue with Sea Spray Glitter.

Image is from Gus-Fish Whisper Digital Set. I used the pre-colored image and cut it out with a die from Spellbinders Radiant rectangle set. Same thing in here as with sentiment layer: while the die was still in place I inked the paper with Broken China Distress ink. Then I used Sakura Glue Pen to draw a frame around the inking and covered the glue with Sea Spray Glitter.
I glued some Shaved Ice Glitter to the fish. Love how it gives a look like the fish has a shiny scales. I covered fish, fisherman glasses, boots, fishing rod and few more things with Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops.

For the background I used a dull pattern paper. I made it prettier with an older Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp set named Wonky Lines Background. I placed the stamp to the Stamp Platform and used Versamark ink to make the impression. First stamped image was heat embossed with Sky Blue Spark Embossing Powder. Then I placed the paper to Stamp Platform up side down and made another impression. This time it was heat embossed with Antiquities Embossing Powder.

Edges of the matting layer are covered with  1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Sea Spray Glitter. Some finishing touches was added with Dazzling BlueHoney Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops. Cattails on the image was also covered with Honey Gold Glitter Drops.

Nature's Elegance

Hi! My favorite stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle October reveal is Lovely as a Leaf #869. I decided to make a simple watercolor card with it.

I stamped the images with Nuvo Hybrid Ink (Acorn Brown) to the watercolor cardstock. For coloring I used few different mediums: Nuvo Aqua Flow brush pens from Autumn Woodland set, Dark Green from Nuvo Glitter Marker Northern Lights set and Distress Inks (Fired Brick, Scattered Straw, Broken China). After everything was dry, I took Sakura Glue Pen and drew some lines to the veins of the leaves. I covered the glue with Sunkissed Copper Nuvo Gilding Flakes and let it dry a bit. With stiff brush I removed extra Gilding Flakes.

Sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink. Because I stamped to the textured cardstock I used the Stamp Platform. Thanks to it I got a perfect impression. Sentiment was heat embossed with  Antiquities Embossing Powder.

Edges of the matting layer are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Sunkissed Copper Nuvo Gilding Flakes. After adhering watercolor layer on top, it felt that something is missing. So I took Sakura Glue Pen and drew a straight line to all around the edges of the watercolored layer. Then I added Antiquities Embossing Powder on top and heat set the powder. I wanted the shaggy edge so I didn't bother to use the Anti Static Bag or brushing off the extra powder.

Dies from MemoryBox Classic Upper Alphabet Set was used to cut the word 'autumn' from the watercolored layer. Same letters was also die cut out of White Craft Foam. I inlaid foam letters to the watercolor background and glued watercolored letters on top of the foam. Then I covered letters with Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops.

I made this card in the end of the August. That time the leaves on my Maple trees was still green. It's really nice to see them change their colors. And it's fun to walk through the thick layer of fallen leaves. I spent entire last weekend to rake all the Maple leaves from my garden. I was ready to give up and continue on next weekend but I'm glad I didn't. They would be under snow now.

Herd

My card Today is showcasing mostly digital images and one rubber stamp from Sparkle N Sprinkle. I used sentiment stamp from Farm Fresh - Cows rubber set and images from same Digital Set. I also used digital paper from Lovely Magnolia Digital Set.

I placed the cows from Farm Fresh - Cows Digital Set on top of the green pattern paper from Lovely Magnolia Digital Set and printed it out. After cutting the panel to the size I needed I inked the edges with Distress Ink (Peeled Paint). Then I covered entire panel with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder. I added Versamark ink and Clear EP few times until I cot a smooth shiny layer.

Sentiment is from Farm Fresh - Cows rubber set. It's stamped with Versamark ink on top of the Clear embossed panel. I used Stamping Platform for stamping. It was very helpful because the panel curled up from all the previous heat embossing. Thanks to the magnets I was able to place the panel straight down to the surface and get the nice stamped impression. Sentiment was heat embossed with Silver Detail Embossing Powder. It's really cool how the powder melts in to the previously heat embossed powder.

Background is made in the same way as the main panel.I placed several copies of the same image from Farm Fresh - Cows Digital Set on top of the green pattern paper from Lovely Magnolia Digital Set. After printing it out I inked the edges with Peeled Paint Distress ink. It needed some glitter so I took Sakura Glue Pen and draw couple straight lines with it. Glue was covered with Reflection  Microfine Glitter.

And of course I had to make my usual glittery matting layers. For that I covered edges of the paper with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape, adhered top layer in center and covered rest of the tape with Margarita Microfine glitter. As a final touch I added Silver Lining Nuvo Crystal Drops to the corners of the main panel.

Materials used:
Stamps: Farm Fresh - Cows 878 and Digital Set Digi878, Lovely Magnolia Digital Set Digi853;
Glitters: Margarita [GM2032], Reflection [GM2007];
Embossing Powders: Clear [EP120], Silver Detail [EP257];
Inks: Distress Ink (Peeled Paint), Versamark;
Adhesives1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape [SAT01], Sakura Glue Pen;
Cardstock: White;
EmbellishmentsNuvo Crystal Drops (Silver Lining);

Than you for the visit!

On my card I used both Farm Fresh - Tractor rubber set 877 and Digital Set Digi877. I also used one older stamp set Silhouettes 493.

The tractor is from Digital Set. I printed out pre colored image and fussy cut it with scissors. Metal parts on the tractor are colored over with Versamarker Pen. I covered them with Clear Embossing Powder and heat embossed. That gives a nice shine to the tractor.
Sentiment is rubber stamp from Farm Fresh - Tractor set. It's stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Coffee Embossing Powder.

Big postage stamp behind the tractor is die cutted with Spellbinders Postage Stamps die. Square layer on top of it is simple: I used another sentiment from Farm Fresh - Tractor rubber set and I stamped it several times with  Safari Green Nuvo Hybrid Ink all over the square. Then I inked it with Peeled Paint Distress ink. Edges are covered with Sakura Glue Pen and Bronze Splendor Glitter.

I stamped and watercolored the background. I used stamps from Silhouettes stamp set and Safari Green Nuvo Hybrid Ink. Coloring is done with Nuvo Aqua Flow pens (Rustic Oak and Evergreen Fern) from Autumn Woodland. I also used Distress Inks (Hickory Smoke, Broken China).

Edges of the matting layer are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Bronze Splendor Glitter. I also added some dots of Chocolate Fondue Nuvo Glitter Drops to the card.

The next stop on our blog hop is our super talented Shona

Greetings of the Season

Hi! Today I want to show a Christmas card made with digital stamps and digital pattern papers. I used Sparkle N Sprinkle Victorian Camille at Christmas Digital Set Digi864 and Winter Greetings Digital Papers Digi4005.

This pretty girl is a pre-colored image from Victorian Camille at Christmas Digital Set. I added some  Crystal Ice glitter to her dress, hat and muff with Sakura Glue Pen. Tiny dots of White Nuvo Crystal Drops was added to cover up the falling snow. I placed her behind the shaker window. To the inside of the window I added Diamond Dust glitter, White Micro Beads and few Snowflake sequins.

On the background I used digital pattern paper from Winter Greetings Digital Papers set. I sprinkled Super Thick White Embossing Powder on top and used the heat tool to melt the powder from underneath the paper. I love how it looks like a falling snow.
For the sentiment strip I did some digital layering and editing in my computer. I changed the opacity of the pattern paper, so it appears to be lighter. Then I placed the sentiment from Victorian Camille at Christmas Digital Set on top of the pattern and drew white lines below and above of the sentiment.

I wanted flowers to my card, so I used old die set from Marianne Design (Small Poinsettias) to make some white poinsettias. I added a bit color to them with Broken China Distress Ink. Midnight Blue Nuvo Crystal Drops was added to the flower centers.
Foliage is die cut with Small Fir Spray die by Signature Dies. The are cut out of cardstock which was covered with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. I applied Reflection Glitter to all the foliage.

Card is embellished with few Snowflake sequins and lots of Nuvo Crystal DropsMidnight Blue was added around the shaker window and White was placed to the center of sequins.

Edges of the matting layers was covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape  and Reflection Microfine Glitter. Sentiment layer is adhered from the ends straight to the background but from the middle it's adhered with the foam tape.
