True Beauty

Sparkle N Sprinkle revealed in the beginning of May a stunning new stamp set named True Beauty #844. I used Digi version of the same set on my card.

Wonderful thing about SNS Digi stamps is that they also include a pre-colored images. I added some shine and sparkle to this lovely Peacock. His wings are covered with light coat of Indian Gold Nuvo Embellishment Mousse (diluted with water). This gave to his wings a slight golden shimmer and didn't covered original color. Same Mousse is also added to his feathers. For more sparkle I adhered Priceless Peacock Glitter with Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen to some places and also dots of Dazzling Blue Nuvo Glitter Drops.

Sentiment is printed to the white cardstock and it's cut out with Spellbinders die (Radiant Rectangles). While paper was inside of the die, I inked the background with Distress Inks (Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean). Golden frame is drawn with brush and Indian Gold Mousse
A strip of lace was adhered to this panel as well. I added Nuvo Glitter Drops (Dazzling Blue and Sunlit Meadow) to the inside of the holes of the lace.

To cover the card base I made a panel (cut with Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles dies) and colored it with Indian Gold Mousse. I adore this color. To the back side of the panel I placed 3/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to cover the holes. It also acted as adhesive to glue the panel on top of the card base. Revealed sticky parts was covered with Priceless Peacock Glitter.

Card base is made out of two panels cut with largest die from Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles set. To one of them I made a score line about 1 cm from top and glued two panels together above the score line.

Brighten My Day

Can you see that summer is on my mind - warm sunshine, pretty flowers and shimmering blue sea. This card is inspired from all of that. Sparkle N Sprinkle latest stamp reveal is giving you lots of beautiful images to make a summer card.
Background paper is from Digital Rainbow of Pastels Patterned Paper Pack. It won't show very well on the photos but edges of the paper are inked with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse (Peony Pink) to add even more shimmer.

For the focal image I used pre-colored picture from Flower Girl - Magic in You Digi set. It's die cut with stitched circle die. Edges are slightly inked with Peony Pink Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. I added Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops to the girl accessories and Sherbert Shimmer to the flower center. Sentiment is also from the same Digi set.

Matting layer underneath the image is made from two die cut shapes (Spellbinders Decorative Labels One). Before adhering them together, I covered them with Large Nuvo Glue Pen and Ocean Glitter. Two square shapes made a pretty doily.

For the flowers I used Spellbinders dies (Blooms Four). They are inked with Carved Pumpkin and Fossilized Amber Distress inks. After shaping them I added Sherbert Shimmer Nuvo Glitter Drops to the center. Leafy swirls are also cut with Spellbinders die (Sprigs). They are colored with Nuance watercolor powder (Jade).

Little dots of Nuvo Jewel Drops (Orange Marmalade) was added to the card. Matting layer of the background paper are covered with Large Nuvo Glue Pen and Ocean Glitter.

Are you ready for summer and beach? I can't wait for warm and sunny weather. We had small relapse in Estonia. No one wasn't prepared for the snow in May. But it's getting better now...

As a main image on my card I used new stamp sets from Sparkle N Sprinkle -  digi version of Kaitlyn Mermaid set #847. I used pre-colored image and just added light blue to the background. To add my personal touch I colored the sand with Versamarker pen, covered it with Hit the Beach Embossing Powder and heat embossed. Her tale was done the same way but I used Sparkle EP. Her lips and stump was painted over with watercolor brush and Nuvo Embellishment Mousse (Peony Pink). Waterfall Glitter was adhered with Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen to her blouse and hair. Top her hairpiece and bracelet I added Nuvo Glitter Drops (Honey Gold).

It was very fun to make the background. Sentiment is from same Kaitlyn Mermaid digi set. I placed it on top of the blue digi paper from Rainbow of Pastels Patterned Paper Pack and printed it out. Paper is ripped in to strips. Starting from the top I adhered those strips to a scrap paper and after that It is trimmed to the size I needed. I scribbled Versamarker pen over the blue paper and heat embossed it with Sparkle EP.

I brought out an older stamp set named Mermaid Kisses #529. I used Memento (Tuxedo Black) ink to stamp two different small images with seashells to the white cardstock. They are colored with Promarkers. I also added Nuvo Embellishment Mousse with waterbrush to make them shiny: Peony Pink to the shell and  Mother of Pearl to the pearls. I also added Nuvo Jewel Drops on them: Grey Mist to the pearls and Rose Water to the pink shell. Starfish is covered with Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops

Nuvo Jewel Drops, in color of Sea Breeze, was added all over the card. They looks air bubbles.

To make the matting layer I covered the edges of the carstock with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape, adhered top layer in center and covered rest of the tape with Denim Microfine Glitter.

I used Happy Flowers Digi Bundle for my Reveal card. The set includes lots of differently colored images, sentiments, decoupage sheets and digi papers.

This lovely yellow flower is one of the pre-colored images from the digi bundle. I printed two copies of them. One was cut with narrow white border all around. From second image I needed only flower petals. They are fussy cut without any border. I added some Daisy Microfine Glitter to the petals with Medium tip Nuvo Glue Pen. Fussy cut petals are adhered with glue (from the bottom) and foam tape to flower image with in an angel.

Sentiment is from the same digi bundle. I used a die from Spellbinders Floral ovals set as a template and draw an oval around the sentiment and cut it out with scissors. This way it will mach perfectly with the matting layer. A bit of Broken China Distress Inks was added to the edges.
To make the matting layer I covered piece of white cardstock with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and die cutted it with Floral Oval die. I adhered sentiment to the center and covered rest with Daisy and Purple Rain Glitters.

I used purple pre-colored flowers from the bundle to make my own pattern paper. I just placed bunch of flowers in different angle on top of the to light blue background. After printing it out I added Semi-Transparent  Orchid glitter with Medium tip Nuvo Glue Pen to the flowers.
Edges of the matting layer are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. To the top and left side of the layer I added Daisy glitter and bottom and left side are covered with Purple Rain Glitter.

To make the background a bit more interesting I added a piece of embossed vellum on top of it.

As an embellishments I used lace, pearl string and few dots of Pale Perriwinkle Nuvo Jewel Drops.

The next stop on our blog hop is Shona with her amazing card.

A Friend Like You

Messy, fun and simple are the words to describe this card. I enjoyed playing with Sparkle N Sprinkle Corner Garden stamp set. To make this card, it's necessary to have any kind of stamp platform.
For the background I took a watercolor cardstock, cut to the size of the card base. Paper was placed inside of the stamp platform, flower stamp was adhered in place. After inking the stamp with Vintage Photo Distress Inks I spritzed it with water and stamped the image to the paper. Then I turned paper 180 degree and repeated the process. I spritzed entire paper with water and let the ink spread around. It was still possible to see pale marks of the image so I took Mowed Lawn and Fossilized Amber DI-s and added them to the image with watercolor brush. After everything was painted and paper was try I placed it back to the stamp platform and stamped the flowers on top of previously stamped images with Vintage Photo Distress ink. Then I cut this panel smaller with scissors.

While flower stamp was still in same place on the Stamp Platform, I inked it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped the image to the white cardstock. Rotated the cardstock 180 degree and stamped same image again. Images are colored with Promarkers. In center of the images I stamped the sentiment from same Corner Garden set with Versamark ink. I heat embossed it with my favorite brown embossing powder - Coffee. Sentiment is cut out with Spellbinders Labels Eighteen die.
For the matting layer I covered piece of cardstock with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. I adhered the sentiment layer on top and fussy cut it with scissors. Rest of the tape was covered with Aztec Gold and Bronze Splendor glitters.

Butterfly is also from the same Corner Garden set. It is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. For coloring I used Promarkers and Indian Gold Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. To get the sheen entire butterfly I diluted the Mousse with water. Butterfly body is covered with Chocolate Fondue Nuvo Glitter DropsChocolate Fondue Nuvo Glitter Drops are also added in center of each flower.

1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape was adhered to the matting layer of the watercolor background. Tape was covered with Aztec Gold and Bronze Splendor glitters.
To add some more messiness to my card I diluted Indian Gold Nuvo Embellishment Mousse with water and made tiny splatters all over the card.

Corner Garden

Hello my friends! I hope you have wonderful Easter! Today I want to share a flower card made with digital papers, digi images and stamped sentiment.
Sparkle N Sprinkle Corner Garden Digi Bundle comes with beautiful vibrant digi papers. Sadly you don't see those vibrant colors on my card. I bought a new printer and we had a rough start... But I think those papers are lovely anyway.

In my computer I placed flower corner image directly to the orange/pink pattern paper and printed it out. This image is in .png format, so it has clear background with black and white image. Leaves are colored with Promarkers.

To make colorful flowers and butterflies I placed images on top of the pattern papers again but this time I erased the white color. This way color of the paper showed through. But if you don't have a suitable program to do it, or you just don't want to mess with it, there is an easier way: First print out the pattern papers, then place same paper back to the printer and then print images on top. Flowers are fussy cut against the lines but for the butterflies I left a narrow white border all around.
Centers of the flowers, butterflies bodies and swirls are covered with Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops. I also added Lavender Iris with Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen to the flowers and butterflies.

Sentiment is from Corner Garden rubber stamp set. It is stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Amethyst Spray Embossing Powder.
I placed a white frame around the sentiment. With Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen I added a Black Suede Microfine Glitter to the inner part of the frame.

Edges of the background paper are also covered with Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen and Black Suede Microfine Glitter. I placed some dots of Nuvo Jewel Drops (Rose WaterOrange Marmalade) all around the card.

Peace and Happiness

How about more Christmas cards? It's good idea to start with it early to avoid rush in December. I used Sparkle N Sprinkle rubber stamp set Christmas Holly Blessings on my golden card.

Image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Promarkers. The vase was 'colored' with Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen and covered with Midnight Gold Glitter. Sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold Detail Embossing Powder.

I wanted to add a bit more dimension to the image. So I covered berries with Strawberry Coulis Nuvo Jewel Drops and glittered vase with Limonello Jewel Drops

Now, to my favorite part of the card - the background. For the card base I used Tonic Trellis Circles die to cut two scalloped circles. One of them is scored 1 cm from the edge and adhered to second die cut shape.
I used another die from same Tonic set to cut trellis pattern in to the white cardstock. It is cut to the circle shape with scissors. I used Indian Gold Nuvo Embellishment Mousse to color it. I adheres this layer to the cardstock which was previously covered with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. After cutting of the excess paper I covered holes between the trellis with Midnight Gold Glitter.

Golden center panel is cut with scissors. it is also colored with Indian Gold Mousse. I used an embossing folder with brick pattern to dry emboss it. Raised parts are slightly covered with Mother of Pearl Mousse. Edge of the circle and the sentiment layer are covered with Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen and Midnight Gold Glitter.
